Competition Time
Crazy week here doing projects. Within a couple more days, the Lumberjacks will be doing nothing extra except the occasional fishing trip. Until then we have a couple more hard days ahead. At the end of the month, myself and Derek will be competing at Webster Springs, WV. A lot of big name choppers will be there. We hope to do really well. I suspect Derek will be in the top 10 for Springboard. I hope to place top 10 in Standing Block. I will keep you posted on our standings. YO HO!

Spring break was great here at the Feud! Not too much sitting around. Had some of the greatest shows we have done yet and some the biggest, rowdiest crowds as well. Latley I have been hitting the golf course and the lake. More luck on the golf course than on the lake needless to say. So I will be hunting the elusive fishy for the next weeks to come!

We are confident that UT will be close to the win if not victorious!

Still enjoying my time off at home in New York, glad to see family and friends. I have only been able to ice oval race twice in the with my vintage snowmobile, this caused by the lack of ice and a winter up here! Hope to get one more race in this weekend before I head south. I look forward to heading back to Tennessee for the start of March. Here is to a good 2012 season!

All the lumberjacks, including myself, are having a great time with Christmas shows. I hope everyone that has, or is coming to see our show enjoys them as much as we enjoy entertaining them. This is the time of year is when I start gearing up for spring time recruitment of new upcoming lumberjacks from the colligate ranks. I already have some names in mind, one coming out of the Northeast. Keep watching all the lumberjack profiles to see...

July 24, 2011 – In addition to touring nearby cities to appear on local news stations, we’ve also been putting a lot of hours into setting up the props on the inside of our arena! The biggest project (in size and time) this last week was building the 40 foot mountain. And I have to say, it really does look real! We had to weld every piece of rico rock onto the steel frame. Some of our lumberjacks worked all day and into the nights on that, but it paid off and we finished it in about a week and half! I can’t wait to baili down...
